Dear Mum and Dad


O Mum and Dad! I love you so much

You keep me well and help me grow

But soon enough, I will show

The care and kindness that I know

O Mum and Dad! You bring me joy

You give me love and every toy

But as I'm growing, you will see

The love returned that you gave me

O Mum and Dad! For you I pray

That on Allaah's Path you both stay

And if on some day, you're not there

Always you'll be in my prayer

Dear Mum and Dad!

My life you filled

So many tears for me you spilled

'O Allah, Paradise to them, give'

I hope I'll join their side to live
